The mighty El Dorado Circle invites all Sierra Expedition guides and princesses to go bowling at Homestead Lanes in Cupertino on Saturday, March 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
We
have reserved the facility for two hours, so make sure you don't miss
out on this great fun.
Please try to get there early since it takes some time to get
the shoes handed out. The bowling alley is limited to a total of
160
bowlers, so bowling will
be limited to dads and daughters. However, other family members are
welcome to come along and cheer them on.
Again
this year, we will have a special $1 for each strike donation contest
that is for a good cause. Please bring along some single dollar
bills for the strike donation kitty. It will benefit the Lucille
Packard Children's Hospital Fund that supports play therapy for
hospitalized kids. Each Circle will have a bank at their lanes,
so the princesses can be proud of their participation in charitable
giving (if you want to contribute for your daughter's spares as well,
we won't refuse your money).
Shoe rental and games on all lanes are covered by the Expedition. Pizza will be supplied by the Expedition and will be served around 6:30pm. Drinks are the responsibility of each Circle and are available at the standard alley rates for those who want any. This event turns out to be a great success each year and we hope that you will all be able to come.
We've put together a tentative set of
lane
assignments for the Circles. These are not intended to restrict
interaction between the Circles, but rather to make it simpler for each
Circle to get together.

Homestead Lanes are located at 20990 Homestead Road in Cupertino. This is pretty much at the corner of Stelling and Homestead. From the 280 Freeway, take the De Anza Blvd exit heading north (away from Saratoga), and then go left on Homestead. See the map below.
